  • Sign-in via the web — the extension may open our website for Google sign-in (or other sign-in we offer on the site). That sign-in is handled under our website’s authentication processes and this policy.

Information stored on your device (Chrome extension)
The extension may store information locally in your browser (for example, using Chrome’s storage), such as your session or app key, preferences, and recent capture history metadata, so the extension can work without you signing in on every use.
