Welcome to figscreen.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (figscreen.com), our Figma plugin (“Figscreen” or the plugin), the Figscreen Chrome extension, and any related accounts, APIs, billing, or features we make available (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service description

Figscreen helps you capture, import, annotate, or otherwise work with website visuals in design workflows. Depending on the product surface, features may include:

  • Importing website screenshots into Figma (including bulk URL workflows, device/resolution options, and related settings).
  • Using the Chrome extension to capture pages (e.g. viewport or full page), perform lightweight edits, and sync with your Figscreen account, capture history, and related backend features.
  • Account, authentication, API or app keys, plans, credits, and other controls offered on our website or through our systems.

Features, limits, and availability may change over time. We may introduce beta or experimental features; those are still part of the Service unless we say otherwise.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for:

  • Account security (passwords, access to your email, and any API/app keys you create).
  • Activity under your account and keys.
  • Notifying us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. User responsibilities and acceptable use

You agree that you will:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, and contractual restrictions).
  • Not use the Service to capture, store, transmit, or distribute content you do not have the right to capture or use (for example, content that violates someone else’s rights, or content obtained by circumventing technical or contractual limits).
  • Not misuse the Service, including attempting to probe, scan, or test our systems without authorization; overload or disrupt the Service; circumvent quotas, billing, or access controls; reverse engineer our software except where prohibited restrictions are unenforceable under applicable law; or resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

You understand that you choose which pages you capture and what you upload or send through the Service, and that you are responsible for that choice.

4. Third-party platforms and services

Parts of the Service may depend on third parties (for example Figma, Google sign-in on our website, payment processors, or hosting). Those parties have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party products or outages outside our reasonable control.

5. Intellectual property

Our IP. All intellectual property rights in the Service (including software, branding, documentation, and our proprietary technology), except for content you provide, belong to figscreen.com or our licensors.

License to you. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes, in line with your plan and our documentation.

Your content. You retain rights to content you provide. To operate the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content as needed to provide the Service (for example processing captures you submit, storing them per your settings, and showing them in your account or history).

Feedback. If you give us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

6. Plans, billing, credits, and taxes

Paid plans, credits, subscriptions, and usage limits are described at checkout or in-product. Fees are charged as disclosed at purchase. Taxes may apply based on your location.

Unless required otherwise by law or a separate written agreement:

  • Payments are generally non-refundable except as stated in our Return & Refund Policy.
  • We may change pricing or plan terms with reasonable notice where permitted; continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, figscreen.com and its affiliates and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to:

  • your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service;
  • third-party conduct or content; or
  • unauthorized access or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is, to the extent permitted by law, limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100) if no fees were paid for that period—unless mandatory law requires a different cap.

9. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless figscreen.com and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, or if we discontinue all or part of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.

11. Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. If changes are material, we will provide notice where practical (for example via email or in-product). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance, except where applicable law requires a different process.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections where you reside, the courts located in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.
